Hesitation and lunging/lurching

Asked by imalulu2 Aug 16, 2017 at 05:57 PM about the 2015 Subaru Forester 2.0XT Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2015 Subaru Forester, 36k mileage, is hesitating at take off and seems to
be lunging into gear.  not sure if I am describing that correctly.  anyone else
having this issue?  I have taken it to different dealerships and an outside
mechanic that specializes in Subaru and they can't "replicate" the issue.  there
are 2 other issues - gas mileage decrease and RPM increases.

This may be a CVT issue. Be glad Subaru extended the warranty out to 100,000 miles.
