Glashing red temp light on 2008 forester

Hi. Have 08 subaru forester xs premium and red flashing
temperature light has decided to come on, but doesn't stay
on.
Wondering if anyone has had this?

You need to service the cooling system. Make sure the cooling fans are working and check the coolant level but you should probably do a cooling system flush, install new hoses and coolant.
