My battery is only 6 months old and my battery light came on while I was driving, I only drove a few miles than I lost power steering and the abs light came on than as soon as I parked the car went dead, what might this be?

Sounds like the alternator is not working to keep the battery charged. Since the battery is only 6 months old get a battery charger on it, it should be ok.

So have the alternator checked and probably needs replacing.
