Honda Accord 96 2.7L Idler Pulley

Asked by Guru9G238 Aug 01, 2017 at 08:24 PM about the 1996 Honda Accord EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Trying to remove idler pulley from honda accord 96 2.7L. It is very tight quarters
and hard to get a wrench in there. I was able to get a wrench in but could not
get the bolt to come loose to remove the idler pulley. I wanted to make sure that
it is right hand threaded. Also any advice on way to remove this bolt so I can
replace the idler pulley? Thanks!

1 Answer

Found a tool that worked, Honda Serpentine Belt Tensioner Tool from Schley Products. I was able to order on Amazon.
