WHY DOES MY SPEED SENSOR KEEP GOING BAD?

Asked by 1995accord Aug 14, 2014 at 10:59 PM about the 1995 Honda Accord EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I HAVE A 1995 HONDA ACCORD EX AND IT SEEMS LIKE EVERY FEW MONTHS
MY SPEED SENSOR GOES OUT. ILL REPLACE IT AND IT WILL GO OUT AGAIN.
THIS LAST ONE I REPLACED SEEMED TO BE DOING GOOD BUT IT WENT OUT
AS WELL AND THIS WILL BE THE 4TH SPEED SENSOR IVE PUT ON THE CAR
SINCE DRIVING IT. IS THERE SOMETHING THAT COULD BE CAUSING THE
SPEED SENSOR TO GO OUT OF COULD I JUST BE USING BAD SENSORS.

Where are you getting the sensors? Some low priced ones on line tend to not have the quality and dependability of the higher priced ones bought at you local auto zone.
