Is the manual movement of the butterfly smooth? Possibly chewed up drive motor gears? Clean out throttle body with carburetor cleaner and wipe out all black crud. Also clean MAF sensor (between air box and throttle body). YouTube videos can assist in this. Do not touch internals of MAF sensor. They make a special spray cleaner that will sufficiently clean these. I have seen online mechanics use cleaner soaked q-tips to gently clean internals of this sensor.
