I have a 07 Nissan Altima the car will go into reverse no problem but will not go into drive... the car doesn't make any noise just start up and want move unless in reverse help!

My 2006 nissan altima 2.5 automatic transmission will sometimes not go into drive. It will go into reverse, but you have to manually shift it into 1 then 2, 3 and then drive to get car to move. 10 Answers
only way to get car to drive when this happens is to shift manually from 1 through to drive. After that car runs fine for rest of day. Sometimes it shifts into gear hard.
