91 civic misses between 2000 and 2400 rpm and does not want to start when temperatures are hot (85+). Acts like not getting fuel when not starting.

Asked by wahoogary Jul 27, 2014 at 02:46 PM about the 1991 Honda Civic DX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car starts great when cool outside and drives well for several miles.
Then the car starts to hesitate from 2000 and 2400 rpm but runs
good if rpms are kept above 2500 . It also seems to hesitate after
sharp turns after warmed up. My drive is 25 miles, mostly highway
and interstate seral turns at end of trip where missing is prominent.
Will not start after sitting in hot sun all day. It acts like it is not
getting fuel.
