I have a 1990 Honda civic I want to know what's wrong with my car that I have to press the breaks all the way to stop? And I don't think it's the brakes..

J, You should never drive a car that is behaving as you describe as you can rear end someone. Without knowing how you take care of it I would have to say that it could more than one thing: a faulty brake master cylinder/it has air in the lines/it is low on fluid/it has a leak/pads or shoes are totally worn. One of these will be your problem.
