It's best to have tires of the same size on each side of a drive
axle. Some brands even if the same size do vary slightly in size,
also more wear = smaller diameter. It can effect the differential
due to the 2 different tire speeds. Is your car gonna blow up
today or next week, no. But it's a good idea to replace tires on
the front of a front wheel drive together. The back isnt as
important, and becasue they just free spin they can have
different sizes without damaging anyting. If your back tires are
of same make and similar wear just have them rotated up front.
However i would suggest to have the grippiest tires on the
front.
