Transmition

Asked by Haytah Mar 19, 2019 at 11:56 AM about the 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C 230 Kompressor Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Its been two days that my car has an issue which when i drive to work or any
other place and i get there i can not change my shift to P it gets stuck in N and
only moves in N or D but even in the it is stuck on 1st gear until i turn off the
engine then i can move the shift to Park and drive normally can some one tell
me what the issue is?thank you.

Please read the story under 'Shiftgear sensor', some one suspected the gearshift module might be the cause of this since is like a common fault to all people I have spoken to about this problem.

Had the same problem with my 2005 C230.
