My 2002 Hyundai Elantra GT takes 2 or 3 times to start but runs great afterward, what gives?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My battery is about 2 years old, had it checked last night and was told it was good.  I had some minor flooding about a month ago, got all the water out of the floorboards and carpets, could this be an issue.  As a result of  the flooding, I had to disconnect my car alarm siren.  Not sure why it would shut off.  Where should I start looking to fix this?
