Jeep Patriot 2011 stopped running while listening to CD

Asked by JeepLuv19 Jan 13, 2019 at 09:22 PM about the 2011 Jeep Patriot North Edition

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I took a 10 minute drive but
let it run to warm up as it's -15
in Montreal. When I arrived
home I turned off the engine
but sat with some music
playing for about 10 minutes.
Suddenly my music (CD) shut
off by itself & so did my jeep.
Just went dead. So I turned
the key & all warning lights on
the dash lit up but it won't
start. Doesn't even make a
sound like it's trying to turn
over. Zero sound! My battery
couldn't have drained from
just 10 minutes of listening to
music?? Could it be a fuse or
something electrical?

1 Answer

Mine has done the same thing once I turned everything off waited a hour to 90 minutes charged itself. Battery checked good have light issues I believe it's electrical & got something to do with computer not reading codes
