transmisson malfunction

Question type: General

when stopping,  occasionally ( 1 0r 2 times a week) th transmission does not
return to 1st gear,  the transmission indicator (center of the speedometer) is
blank,  if I turn off the car and restart it the problem is cleared.  NO engine
check light appears.

It sounds like an electrical issue with the transmission and or wiring, have your Hyundai dealer service department look it over or a local mechanic or transmission shop. These is no real DIY here. IT could be as simple as you low fluid. For a 2014 you should have had the transmission fluid changed by now?
