I have a 2017 Cadillac XT5. The radio/antenna at time drops SXM channels. The dealer provided a loner with the same radio/antenna nad it did the same thing. Anyone else experienced this problem?

I suspect the radio and or antenna are the cause of the problem. Called Cadillac Assist and they blamed it on cell towers, power lines, etc. I also have a 2011 GMC Terrain. It has never dropped a SXM channel.

Sirius XM radio is satellite based and not based on cell towers. Cadillac is pulling your leg.

Yeah this problem is because GM has the antenna mounted POORLY in the XT5. I'm having the same problems and I'm guessing i will have to cancel my service due to GM's poor design. I've already had my XM antenna warranty replaced and it does the same thing still.
I regret buying our 2017 Cadillac XT5 Platinum badly. Dashboard bubbled up on drivers side first, the passenger side second. If, they offer a loaner for their issues like our CUE melting down at 2300 miles or the antenna that is faulty leaving us stranded without internet, navigation or XM. IF FIELDS DEALERSHIP OFFERS A LOANER ITS GHETTO. I have been here since 9am it is noon now and they just told me no loaner and it's a warranty issue now - and not only am I awaiting a ride but our vacation starts Thursday morning at 4am - and can not use my 9850 mile 2017 CADILLAC XT5 PLATINUM less than 2 year old car in that vacation. 48 hours from now we should be on the road to the mountains.

I would assume your antenna is faulty as well.
I am having the same problem with my XM radio. They said they "drove around" and it didn't drop. Mine drops all over the place. I had a mercedes before that and drove the exact same route with no issue. Not happy.
