Wiper motor

Question type: General

So I purchased a used 2016 hyundai accent
back in November of 2016,from a dealer of
course,with only one previous owner.it's
now almost may 2017 and my widsheild
wiper motor has already gave out ? Um, that
sound right to anyone?

korean car with 100% of the parts made in china.......2 things against

I would verify that the fuse is not blown first. Then I would verify there is no voltage at the motor when the switch is on before replacing the motor. It could be wiring, a fuse, a bad connector, and I even had the nut loose on the back wiper on my Hyundai Accent and all I had to do is tighten it and it was fixed. Work your way through the easy stuff and then if all those are good then you know the motor is truly bad.
