1988 for LX Crown Vic tube kits

Asked by aceharter Dec 08, 2016 at 02:20 PM about the 1988 Ford LTD Crown Victoria 4 Dr LX Sedan

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I just purchased a 1988 Ford Crown Vic LX, and I'm looking for where to buy a kit of all the tubes.  The current tubes are crumbling when I touch them, and I would like to buy a kit.  I'm currently replacing the heater coil.   thanks

Tubes? You mean all the hoses (radiator, heater, bypass hoses)? Just about any place will carry them, may not be in a "kit" per se, but for sale individually. I bought all new hoses for a 75 Ford Elite from Car Parts Warehouse, they even had them in stock. I think this would only be a problem if you're in another country, where you might have to order them online.

Rockauto, I have a 1987 2 dr I just bought two months ago. I have replaced all the water lines, and now I'm workimg on replacing the vacuum lines. Just buying the in 5' and 10' sections tracing them out and replacing. As I do, car runs better.
