Yes, double check the wires. Firing order standing in front of vehicle: Left Bank, 4-3-2-1. Right Bank, 5-6-7-8. If you are sitting on the car, the left and right banks will be in the opposite position.

Is there any way someone can send me a diagram that's easy to read.

Did you check the address brotherben gave you? You will see a diagram there. In any case, cylinder number 1 is at the back so, starting there the firing order is 1-2-3-4, with number 4 at the front. Same for the other bank, number 8 is at the back, then the firing order will be 8-7-6-5, with number 5 at the front. Again, standing in front of the vehicle, 4 and 8 are the ones closer to you.
Follow the wire starting at the distributor down to the spark plug, is less confusing, if you find that a couple are out of order, see if the wires are long enough so that you can change the position at the cylinder without having to mess with the distributor. There is a diagram of the distributor firing order, and do not do switching in a hurry, if you get confused, stop and find someone with knowledge to help you.
