Won’t start but turns over

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Turns over but it won’t engage the fuel pump
we replaced it and still doesn’t work we can
jump the relay and it will turn on but it won’t
otherwise not sure what’s going on any
suggestions?

I had similar issues with my truck 98 4x4 5.7 Turned key gas spewed out fuel filter had hole rusted through Let sit for three months Battery died Replaced battery and fuel filter Truck wouldn’t start Realized key was not factory it was a replacement Followed instructions to reset passlock Used factory key Runs like a champ I am blown away thought it was many other things I am glad I listened to the internet HAPPY AS HELL figured I’d help someone else
