Could be the ignition control module. If you take it out and take it to an auto parts store, they can test to see if it is good.

We have put I put like 2 more different ones off of other trucks that only had trans problems but it still won't start also my buddy that's working on it said the could get it to shoot a little fire out of the coil when they was testin on the fuse box with a test light but couldn't get it to continue to fire

If the coil and the ignition control module are good, and you are getting power to the coil, then something would not be breaking the circuit, which leaves the camshaft sensor. And also try to turn the rotor checking to see if the distributor gear is still locked in. The rotor should not turn by hand.
