94 chevy 1500 suddenly dies won't start

Asked by Cody Mar 19, 2018 at 05:43 PM about the 1994 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Silverado LB RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was driving my truck out of the yard at work and
then it died. No spark no fuel. My co worker
suggested the fuel pump. I swapped that and the
relay. Still no spark or fuel.
I tried to start it with starting fluid, changed the
batt, no change. I arked my wrench across the
relays when changing the pump relay. I checked all
the fuses and can hear the computer turn on.

Any ideas why I'm not getting spark?
Computer, coil, distributor,? Any ideas how to test
before I spend more money.

Under the distributor cap. I forget what it’s called. Two bolts hold it down. I call it the brain that controls your fuel and spark.
