Asked by Diphakultone Mar 29, 2017 at 09:10 PM about the 1995 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Silverado Extended Cab LB RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

New battery . fuel pump. New throttle body basicly
i have done alot to this 1995 chevy c1500 350 v8. I
drive to work in the mornings n its cool out n my
battery gage in the cluster stays about half way all
the time unless i am switching lanes or im off the
gas n im running the heat. But lately in the 70
something degree afternoons after the engine get
hot and not on the interstate in stop n go traffic my
voltage starts to read below half way and i had
stop to get the alternator checked during this and it
was almost to the quarter line n the guy at
advanced auto tells me battery in great n alternator
is cranking at 14 and is fluctuating from 13.8 13.9
14 n back and forth from those numbers. No
stumbling or hesitation. The alternator still has the
remanufactured sticker on it from the guy i bought
the truck from over 3 years ago. New ground and
power wire for the alternator n ground for the
battery. Other then that this truck is bone stock.
And distributor was done 2 years ago as well.
Please help. Lol im lossin it tryin here.

Check the dash. Could be a loose bolt there or just a faulty indicator.
