I am personally use Royal Purple full synthetic complete fuel system cleaner ,it's designed to be used every 10000 miles and cost around 14dollars in Walmart. Works like a charm and I use once or twice a year.

I've tried a ton of products in my cars and nothing, I repeat nothing, has been as effective as BG44K. Its on the expensive side - $36 bucks at WalMart for a 2-pack - but in my experience, it works extremely well. Some years ago, I purchase a beautiful 1984 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. It was a garage queen, and had been sitting for months (at least). When I first test drove it, I could literally run faster than that thing could accelerate. I ran thee cans of BG44k through three full tanks of gas and afterwards, the engine idled and accelerated like new.
