Defect on replacement windshield for Kia sportage

Asked by Visions1877 Jul 09, 2019 at 09:17 PM about the 2017 Kia Sportage EX AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had a crack in the windshield of my 2017 Kia Sportage.  I
got a replacement done by a well respected local shop.
After they finished and I was able to drive my car the next
day I noticed about a line 2 inches high that goes the whole
length of the window and makes things look magnified and
distorted.  I had the shop replace it a second time and there
is the exact same defect.  Is this bc I got an aftermarket
one and not an OEM one?  Are all aftermarket ones going
to have this or is it just this brand used.  My seat is pretty
low and makes the warp right in my line of view and hard to
drive.  Anyone deal with this or have any thoughts
