trying to remove knock sensor "bolt" in 2017 forester

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Bolt in knock sensor seems to be seized and won't turn. Afraid to throw any more weight on it fear of twisting off the bolt.
Does anyone have any suggestions of how to get that damn bolt out in one piece? ??

Try some penetrating oil.
Purchased PB blaster will let it soak down. At present, the sensor is working fine but I don't know if it will act up again. Will the penetrating oil cause it to malfunction??
If you get oil in the electrical connection it could cause a problem.
Please me one question: Since this sensor acted up and caused the engine to react erratically, but has now settled. Does it mean that this sensor is now OK , or should I consider it a future problem waiting to happen ?? Should I replace it ???
No, the car has 145K on it.. no warranty. looking for good advice. thanks
