Do you think that Subaru will ever import their awesome diesel powered
forester into the U.S.?

I find it interesting that they are using the boxer engine style for their diesel. They were supposed to do a diesel here in the USA in 2010 and it must not have happened. If they can keep the head gaskets on it and prevent it from using excessive amounts of oil they may have a winner, but unless gasoline gets very expensive I doubt it will sell well enough to keep it in the lineup.

I don't know much about their diesel but if they based it on the gas engine it will probably be a disaster. If it is built right I would be interested as their gas engines suck. The problem is the EPA is gunning for diesels and making it hard to comply with their anti-diesel regs. Maybe Trump will clean house at the EPA and bring in some sanity.

There has been a slow moving ban going on for years. Eventually the regs will be impossible to comply with.
