2015 Subaru Forrester RPM's

Question type: General

I was test driving a nice Subaru Forester with 57,020 miles on it.  I took it up on
the interstate and noticed that it was running at about 4,000 rpm's while cruising
at about 70 mph.  Never driven a Subaru before and its been a long time since I
drove a 4 cyl car but that seemed a little high for 70 mph?

That is no normal. The engine speed should be around 2,000 rpm at 70mph with the CVT on flat ground. Don't buy it!
