Service Shifter

2016 Jeep Cherokee Latitude here. No but there should be. This is happening too many times. Mine was replaced twice. I luckily have an extended warranty and so first was covered but I even regret having to pay the 100 dollar deductible..Then went 8 months later and Dealer covered it after trying to tell me there was a part on it that was not part of the replacement shifter..and I said the entire shifter assembly was replaced so thats not possible. They paid for it as the repair is guaranteed for 2 years and they paid for my rental. Its obscene it has not been recalled for this. They know about it. This is only a fraction of what I have been dealing with and don't get me started on the way the car was driving in general in stop and go traffic. The car was lurching and felt like I was being rear ended the way it jarred forward after stopping.and then starting. It took them keeping the car a week before they got it to replicate it and then said they did a computer patch which fixed it. I am currently in the process of having a used engine put in. see my other post in here for that story...Good luck.

My sister just had her shifter that was all red fixed today 2016 latitude dealer told her moisture from the cup holders is affecting the wiring harness. They replaced harness. Let’s see what happens.

service shifter replaced for the 4th time transmission amd wiring harness replaced as well. 2018 jeep cherokee . This makes me sick .and yet there is no recall on this im sure its not been because appareny chrysler doesn't even know how to fix it :( Goodluck everyone this car seems like it will ncikle and dime me to death never again will I purchase one
