Start/Stop functionality not working

I had the smaller battery replaced on the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee but the
Start/Stop still isn't working .. rather the system indicates waiting on the battery
to charge.  I did not change the larger battery but again the Stop/Start still isn't
working and my automatic high beams are not working either.  Is the smaller
battery faulty or do I need to replace the larger one as well?

Possibly but you need a memory saver tool first, hook it up to the OBD 2 port before disconnecting main power or you may really open a can of worms. Did you do a voltage check on the main battery? It should read 13.2 to 13.7 volts with everything turned off. If it doesn’t then trickle charge it overnight and recheck, if volts are still low then a replacement is best.
