My 1999 Ford expadition trys to die when I take off from a stop

Take it to Autozone or anyplace that offers a free code scan. Probly a mass air flow censor. But find out for sure. No sence growing parts at it.

I miss my 1999 Expedition more then some of my relatives. Sold it to a buddy of mine with 260,000 miles on it. It's still on the road and he's still my pal.
