CMBS, ACC, RDM Warnings While Driving on Honda Civic Hatchback EX 2017

Asked by Ashkar888 Jun 06, 2018 at 09:09 AM about the 2017 Honda Civic EX with Honda Sensing

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi, I drive a 2017 Hatchback 1.0 EX and I've been having this same issue for a while. No matter how many times I restart the vehicle it remains the same. I even pulled out the battery cables twice and did a diagnosis test a from a universal tab plus the honda certified tab and yet it doesn't detect the issue. I'm uploading two pics taken as soon as it happened. Any assistance to get these working back to normal is highly appreciated :) oh also I got the local agent to check on it and they say there is a issue with the radar but that could only happen if the front of the car met with a collision which didn't happen

As a Honda tech, I can say there have been a few issues on the 2017 Civics with the radar being misaligned causing warning lights to come on. Radar = front bumper LH side by fog light bezel. You will probably have to go to a Honda dealer to get this re-aligned as it requires special targets etc....Hope this helps.

2018 Honda Accord touring, same happened to me. It costed 350.00 to reaim the radar. Per Honda dealer, the radar might be hit by stone or something and the position is off.

My 2017 sport touring hatch did the same thing yesterday. 42,000 KM. Partly over cast day. Car was not dirty. All honda sensing light warming lights came on while driving down the highway. Was not using cruise control at the time or lane assist. Just driving under my own control and for no reason the warning light all came on. They stayed on until car was turned off. Not impressed Will be brining it into Honda this week. Will keep people posted

I saw same problems in ny car. And i connected the pc and tried to erasing the problems. And machine wrote, you should calibrate the steering. And it wrote, 90 degree right, 180 degree left, 180 degree right and 90 degree left. This position is starting position. After that close the car and wait 2-3 minute after start car. And all of them erased.
