From my very brief search seems they would only be compatible if both have the 5.0/302. So likely not compatible between the 4.6 and 5.0, look up your parts numbers and see if both vehicles use same part AC compressor.
PS hit up any of the local salvage yards, or pull a parts, they can search their inventory and find you a compatible compressor. Keep in mind a new one runs roughly $200, most yards seel them for around 50+, you'll still have to pay for installation and new refrigerant.
