2005 jeep 3.7 (195000m) cuts out about 2200 rpms at every speed. As long as i stay below 2200 it runs but will stutter as i get close to 2200 rpm and then shuts down

have had the computer replaced, fuel system checked for pressure, tps changed , all
sensors checked , compression and heads checked, codes all checked and verified,
transmision is shifting fine. my mechanic is stumped recommends a 40 cal through the
block and say good night

Did you ever figure this issue out on your 2005 Jeep Liberty? We are having the same issue with ours.... Please advise. We did replace the crank and can sensors...

I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty that has about 136,000 miles on it. It has received every required servicing including and oil and filter change every 3600 miles. Right now, between servicings I have to put in 1 to 2 quarts of oil. I have asked my service representative, Jake at York Jeep about it and he says that it is just because it is an older car. I have talked to a couple mechanics, who basically said "that's crap" and that if my car has received all its servicings this should not be happening.
