is the water pump covered in the warranty when someone installs another engine in your car?

I had a engine installed in my 2003 Jeep Liberty. The mecha if replaced it and ga e me a 6
month warranty .  The date was March 2017 the water pump has gone out. Should it be
covered?

Unless he installed a complete engine with all accessories I would say no.

Make a deal with him if he installed your old used pump. Buy the new one and he installs it free.
