My 2002 jeep grandcherokee has been shaking and will stall out if i dont put it in neutral at stop lights or if stopped in traffic. Rides smooth on highway or regular streets.

May help to clean the throttle body and or the tps is bad,click to up size ,it will be number 5.

Do u think a dirty bad air filter could possiably be problem??? Just removed n its ripped n really dirty

Yes could be,may have drew dirt up in to throttle body,making it run this way,clean it and replace with new filter.

Ok changed n cleaned filter and throttle body. Still same. Did not replace tps yet. Is that expensive???

Any other sugestions besides this part. Just changed so many things wanted to have a couple more sugestions when i bring to mechanic.

May be check the fuel filter,and fuel pressure,to make sure pump is operating corretly.

This was my guess all along....but im a girl so i dont know tooo much about cars. Just drive. The mech said that it prob wasnt fuel filter cause it would still shake n stall while driving.. You have been super helpful and would reccomend your sight to friends n family. Thank u
