2000 grand cherokee loredo limited edition . blower doesnt work , new blower motor resister. what can it be if not the blower motor

Are you getting power to the blower motor? If you are getting power, Ck to see if there is power on the ground wire. Sounds crazy, but if there is no ground to blower motor, power will pass through motor looking for a ground. You say you repaired wires to resistor. So Im assuming it has auto temp. control. Are you sure you put the wires into correct pin locations in new connector? Here is a diagram. Look at blower motor controller and make sure wires are installed properly in the abc locations in new connector. the connector should be marked with letters for wire location. Hope this helps
