my 1999 jeep cherokee has heat but only blows air when knob is turned on high. what could it be?

odds are its the blower resistor. This controls blower speed by several resistors. the high speed bypasses the resistor. Its kind of a pain to replace as you almost need 3 hands to hold it in place and get tools and screws. It should be located at bottom of a/c case on pass. side. insed vehc. there will be several wires going to it.
