My Sorento inside drivers side door handle does not work, is it costly to get it repaired?

Asked by cbuzz Jul 04, 2015 at 03:33 PM about the 2004 Kia Sorento EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

the handle itself is not broken, but when you pull on it, it stays out but does not unlock
the door.

Sounds like the interior door panel will need to be removed and the linkage to the handle re-attached or replaced. Probably about an hour or mechanic's time if you are not comfortable doing it your self.
