reason my2000 kia sportage is cutting out

Check air filter

Changed fuel filter ...air filter and oil just now put a new coil pack on and that made it worse... Any suggestions

I'm having the same problem please help

I problem has gotten worse since replacing coil pack I would think you have a miss firing spark plug or a bad spark plug wire. When was last time you had a tune up ?

firebird338 I hav echanged spark plugs coil pack fuel pump wire plugs and still nothing the only ting I did change was the cam senor and the crank sensor and im waiting for the parts to arrived please help

Clean throttle body and clean or replace ( IAC ) Idle Air Control valve add Lucas Injector Cleaner to gas tank take vehicle out on road and hit the passing gear a few times this will help to clean out the varnish and gum and carbon build up in engine. Be careful no speeding ticket.

Kia Sportage cutting out ??? It is the Crankshaft senser is the culprit which causes this problem it needs replacing but when you replace this you should also replace the Camshaft senser also as they work together sending information back and forth to each other, don’t just change one both need to be changed. This kept happening to my daughters Kia Sportage , when put on the computer it only showed the Camshaft senser being the problem it went to Kia plant diagnostics showed Crankshaft senser at fault but was told to change both since replacing both it has never happened since hope this helps as lots of people have had this problem .
