My Ford Edge Liftgate will open and close by itself.

My Ford Edge Liftgate will open and close by itself.  It seems to be when it is
raining, but I will walk up and it will raise and close by it self a number of times.  
I use my opener and that seems to fix it.

If it only happens when it is raining, I would look at the wiring and sensors. it could be compromised and getting wet.
