the battery ran down on my 2002 lincoln navagitor after I parked on uneven ground and I realized that I heard a sound like a fan going on & off for about 15 minutes

When battery is weak,it will throw false code,s,which will make your fan relay cut on and off.

What about after you recharged the battery? What ran it down in the first place?
