Subaru Forester 2018

Asked by GuruXP2V5 Nov 11, 2018 at 04:46 PM about the 2018 Subaru Forester 2.0XT Touring

Question type: General

I picked up my brand new forester on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 in Montreal and
headed for Nova Scotia, a two day drive. About one hour into the trip I
stoped to use the phone. I turned the car off and when I was ready to leave I
discovered that the electrical system had completely shut down. No lights,
anything. Completely dead just like that.I had the car towed to the nearest
Subaru dealer and I had to put up for three nights in a hotel because the
dealer had closed for the weekend. The tow truck driver ruled out the
battery. Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions? I really don't
want to spend any more nights in this town.

Wow, Subaru continues to make vehicles that have problems and worse yet people continue to buy them. It is hard to say what the problem is.

Buy a Mazda CX5. Subaru is going off the cliff of reliability.

Only an hour from home? Should’ve just rented a car and went back home.
