Towing With a Forester

Once you load up your stuff you will probably be over weight. Towing weights include the cargo inside your car too!

The 2nd gen CVT is probably up to it. Don't push uphill too hard and you'll be fine. Just note that the aspect ratio of the Forester is NOT as good as the Leg/OB, so towing will reduce the F's compromised handling further. Keep tires equally hard (35-36psi) front and rear.

GuruSW818 Please excuse my ignorance but what are the "F's"?
I will answer for Ernie. F = Forester.

Don't believe Subaru when they say the CVT fluid is lifetime. Change it at least every 50,000 miles.
