Asked by Dsrtk9 Jan 16, 2020 at 02:40 PM about the 1998 Ford Expedition 4 Dr XLT 4WD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The other day my exp.was stuck in low range .
Pulled selector motor off transfer case and had
wife to change selectir inside. No movement on
motor. Had power on plug .so i thought bad motor.
Put transfer case in 2 high manually so she could
drive while waiting on motor. Installed new motor
on case , nothing. No lights on dash. Can unplug
motor and the a4wd light will come on but plugged
up, no movement on motor or lights on dash.
Question is, does anyone know what could be my
trouble?   Traction on demand transfer case by
borg warner.   Thanks for any insight. Sorry so long.
