how many miles do u have to drive to reset check engine lt.after replacing battery?

Don't waste your time its not happening Check engine light isn't related to the battery! scan it for DTC codes. Find out why the CEL light is ON
If you got a "battery" light, it's not the battery itself that caused it, but the charging system. Any auto parts store will do a free alternator test.
The trouble code is set and cannot be erased by replacing the battery or disconnecting it. There is only one procedure for resetting or erasing trouble codes.
