thx they did full diagnostics including fuel pressure . , They mentioned a something re the
operate between the brake application and rhe accelerator that kicks in when the pedals
are operated simultaneously. said that this safety mechanism was because in the US
crashed has occurred when drivers had the brake depressed use full accelerator the
quickly released brake and were propelled forward. , this essentially cut out the throttle
when the brake is depressed so tha this can not occur, only been changed in last 6
months, THis has occurred 10k after the last mazda service, ,It was ok in the morning i
parked it , for 3 hours , drove from street park up to corner,100 metres when it occurred
They specifically said that they had checked the fuel pressure, pump, sensors etc. they
have driven it 5 times cannot replicate, The ycalled and said that I could pick it up,I told
them that I won't drive it again until they find something, best he said was that was it may
have been some bad fuel, Fully filled it 159ks before tis had occurred, not a problem,
suddenly bad fuel. this car is dangerous to drive, it only happens on take of ..I have run
out of fuel plenty of times in the last 40 years, it feels exactly like that but doesn't stop, it
had 3/4 tank in it , the fuel gauge isn't wrong as it is consistent to the distance travelled
when i last filled it, If this is a manufacturers problem these cars should be recalled, the yre
juts dangerous, crossing an intersection is taking a huge risk as if it doesn't fire up it could
be fatal, worst part -none would even know why, just say that i was in the wrong place
wrong time ,, thanks
