My mustang randomly shuts off

Asked by Shannon11469 Feb 13, 2020 at 09:33 PM about the 2006 Ford Mustang GT Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My mustang runs great then with no warning will shut off
while I am driving. Sometimes it starts back up sometimes
it take a hrs before it starts. A few times when driving it
wont accelerate and then starts acting funny. I have an
air/fuel ratio gauge and everytine the car shuts down that
gauge goes off but all of the other gauges work. I have
replaced the alternator and the ignition switch. It runs fine
for a week then shuts off then runs again for about a week
and same issue. I have had it tested for codes and nothing
is showing up. This is soooooo frustrating anyone with
insight please help.

Have you figured out what was wrong? I've been dealing with the same problem.
