Is it the rear facing one? 'coz there's a lot of work to get to it. For one thing the plenum has to be removed. While your having that done do the spark plugs. You're going to save a lot of money by not having to duplicate the labor.

Depends where you live. In Australia I could see replacement of the front and rear valve cover gaskets costing anywhere from $350-$600 in labour plus part costs which could be about $200ish. The gaskets can be bought online a lot cheaper though, about $90AUD for a full set when I got mine. The US prices are cheaper than AU however. Australians get reamed every time. Additional Info: The job is not the easiest to do yourself, you need a few different tools to access some of the valve cover bolts but it's doable with a repair manual and enough time. The good news is that after mine is done there will be a detailed HOWTO online for everyone that ever needs or wants to do this in the future.
