Freeze plugs are located on the engine block. They range in size from a dime to a 50 cent piece. Usually they don't need replacing unless they leak coolant from the radiator or the engine is being rebuilt.

The Large pully is connected to the water pump. The bearings do go out and they will leak. The round thing sounds like a freeze plug. get a light and find out where the plug fits then, dry and clean with solvent both the hole in the engine block (sealing surface) and, the freeze plug itself. Check it first for rust or holes. If it dosen't fit snugly get a new one. Then using an RTV sealant on the edges of the freeze plug and tap it lightly into place until the rim of the freeze plug is even with the block. Let it sit overnite and then fill with anti-freeze and water to the level of protection for your area.
