just got a new battery and my remote starter will not turn on unless all buttons are off inside the car. The remote worked with the last battery i had. Could my new battery be defective?

Which battery did you replace? The one in the car or the one in the remote? And what buttons are you taking about?

the car battery is new. if I have the defrost, radio, or even the windshield wipers on. and then I press the remote starter. it tries to start, but wont.
